Charakteristika
The tram line leading to Bystrc has ended at the Ečerova stop. Soon, it will go almost one and a half kilometres further. This will satisfy the needs of hundreds of residents from the Kamechy housing estate who travel daily from the outskirts of Brno to its centre.
The construction, including a 320 m long tram tunnel, deals with the extension of the tram line by about 1.4 km from the Bystrc housing estate to Kamechy in Brno. The line extension includes 3 new tram stops, one of which will be accessible by escalator. The new section is completed with a three-track loop which connects to the housing estate and also to the bus stops.

The project is under contruction, it started 02/2025, the line is expected to be put into operation at the end of 2027
