Charakteristika

The railway line No. 120 connecting Prague and Kladno is going through significant modernization. This investment is dealing with the long-term unsatisfactory condition of the non-electrified single-track line, which does not meet the requirements for suburban transport. Správa železnic s.o. is implementing the project divided into several parts, of which the Prague-Ruzyně - Kladno section is the longest, measuring 15.3 km. The main goals of the modernization are to increase the throughput of the line, reduce travel times and improve the safety and comfort of travel.
